Description
The 2” Nasal Airway Stent is used to splint the anterior nasal passage. This stent splints about one-third to one-half of the anterior nasal passage depending on the anatomy of the patient. The nasal alar is efficiently splinted by the ball-shaped part of the stent. The stent creates an optimal opening of the turbinates so that a healthy airway is achieved.

Antonio Oliveira –
The Alaxo stents have been great for me.
I felt like taking a leap of faith when I came across them, as they cost me ~US$700.
But after so many failed treatments for my nasal congestion (2 septoplasties, 2 turbinate reductions procedures, and a 2-year-long allergy shot treatment), I thought it was worth the risk.
And I have zero regrets.
I purchased the sports version of the stents, I’ve been using them every night for about 4 months.
I can breath 30%-50% better at night than I did when using the disposable BreathRight strips (which I’ve used for 15 years).
Even today I still insert them incorrectly every now and again. And I know when I do before I feel them above my soft palate when I swallow. Very uncomfortable. I think this may vary depending on each person’s nasal anatomy.
When inserted correctly, they don’t bother me at all. I sometimes don’t even remember if I’m wearing them.
After receiving the stents, I got periodic emails from Alaxo to check how I was doing and if I had any questions.
I never needed to contact them beyond that, but they seemed very helpful on those emails exchanges.
I really recommend the stents for those with similar chronic nasal congestion.
